That little extra

It does not take much to make me happy, but this day has just been a little extra nice.

I love autumn, and angry weather, and today it started with lightning and thunder and the rest of the day there were lots of lovely autumn rain.
There is something to feel the power of nature on your body. Feel the wind takes hold of you, and your hair blowing in all directions!

So on a perfect day you have to have a perfect dinner
So then we had one of my favorite dishes - chops, roasted potatoes and garlic baguettes ...

Does not get much better than that?
And now as I sit and write here it starts to thunder and lightning again ... What a day :)

Perfect Sunday

Hope you had a nice Sunday ...

For me Sunday is the best day of the week!
This has been the perfect Sunday. Relaxed, exactly how we should do on Sundays.
For dinner, it was a good, juicy roast pork and of course with crispy crackling.
So now it's just to enjoy the few hours that are left of the Sunday and then it's back to everyday life tomorrow.

Pizza buns

Nothing fits better in the fall than pizza buns.

We had it yesterday with a good movie, but they might as well be enjoyed on a Sunday with a good movie.
And you'll always have some left overs as you sneak to you at night

Enjoy...

A good day for baking

A day like this means only one thing - Baking
Time off from work, and with many hours to my self, it was nothing else in my mind –Baking time
So now I have many rolls cooling of in the kitchen, and ofcourse we have allready tasted some of them, and they tasted like heaven!
I made honey rolls, and here is how you can make them
To make 12 pcs
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
1 cup barely warm water
1/4 cup honey + 1 tablespoon to use later
1 teaspoons salt
1 egg
3 cups all-purpose flour – I used a little more.
1 tablespoon butter, melted
Mix dry yeast, water, honey, salt and egg. Mix this together for a good while, and so add the flour little by little.
If you are doing this for hand you have to knead for good 10 minutes, but I just a machine and let it work for a good 5 minutes.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it stay for 2 hours.
When it has doubled in size, divide it into twelve pieces and roll them out like rollers, and put them in a baking dish or on a baking tray and let them rest for a half an hour.
Melt the butter with a teaspoon of honey and apply this on the rolls and place them in the oven
Set them in the own put them in the stove who is preheated to 400fh (205 ° C) and let them bake for ten to twelve minutes at the bottom of the stove.
Enjoy….
